The Dawkins Duck?
Here is professor Dawkins answering the question of why he won't debate well known and respected Christian apologist, Dr. William Lane Craig. Dawkins will debate Bishops, Cardinals or Popes but he won't debate a highly regarded Christian academic scholar? He will debate a Bishop but won't debate Dr. Craig who is a "creationist" What? I need to know what his definition of "creationist" is because I don't see much difference between what a Catholic Bishop for instance believes and what Dr. Craig believes. Maybe he would debate a member of the hierarchy because your average Bishop or Pope while being well versed in Theology and perhaps philosophy, aren't typically seasoned debaters. C'mon professor, you can give a better (more believable) answer than what you gave. Just do the debate and get it over with. Both sides want to see it happen. As a research professor of philosophy, lecturer, and author of over 30 books, I think Dr. Craig is a bit more than just a "professional debater."
